Expose and expand the STEM educational opportunities available to the community surrounding the Baltimore/DC Metro Area through interactive in-person activities to intrigue exploration and build the pipeline of the next STEM enthusiast.

Alexa Irene Canady, MD, became America’s first Black female neurosurgeon in 1981. She was also the first woman and the first Black person to be a surgical intern at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
